One of the women in our club is, honest to God, just about the nicest person you would ever want to meet. She’s kind, considerate, and caring. She is also unfailingly pleasant (and the curator of insanely good snacks, like wasabi Kit Kats —- sweet and spicy and crunchy all together).

Chatting with her or drilling with her is wonderful. You feel safe and happy. And she’s just plain old and nice to be around.

Competing against her though —- it’s a whole different ball game. She never stops, she never gives up and she keeps on coming. She’s hard, she’s fast and very, very focused. She’ll throw you on the ground, then squish you like a bug. All 120 lbs of her.

If you’re up against she’s out to get you, and most of the time she will get you. Mercilessly. But she’ll be cheerful about it.

She’s like a happy piranha, a smiling boa constrictor, a cheerful assassin

Since I was a child I have been practicing judo, I have really had a positive impact on my environment and on my life in general, and it is very good that young people practice it, by the way I am currently practicing with a very good course and I recommend it, check it out https://bit.ly/2U5XgU9
